Sprucecourt Junior P.S. offers regular Junior Kindergarten through Grade 6 programs and has an enrolment of 358 students.  In 2009, Lead2Peace, a youth organization in Regent Park, launched the Sprucecourt Public School Peace Garden initiative.  And, in 2010, Green Thumbs Growing Kids got involved in helping to build up the food gardening part of their curriculum. With funding from Community Service Partnerships at the City of Toronto, Sprucecourt expanded its food production by adding four new raised beds, a compost program and container gardens.
